Message Tons of C5s and Z28s around here and I know quite a few owners. Unless the light to light excitement and gobs of torque is what you want, stick with your TT. With stock turbos it's easy to spend a few thousand dollars and be easily quicker than modded LS1s. At a point around 400hp they level typically level off in that you have to do more serious work than just basic bolt-ons. Most guys locally either step into nitrous or a supercharger and even then they don't make as much power as you'd think on AVERAGE. There are some damn fast LS1s out there, believe me, but it's far easier to get 450 crank horsepower out of a stock turbo Z with all the goodies.

But again, it all depends upon WHERE you want that power. They are two totally different cars to drive so I can see your thinking. They sure do seem faster than they are even though they are no slouches. Don't let which car beats which car in a race be the only reason you switch :)
